Having left dairy farming in 1997 Sally and Simon and their 3 daughters moved here and opened the B&B, Simon works from home across the yard but occasionally helps out in the dining room. In March 2008 number two daughter got married and left home, one down - two to go!

The family gathered around a tableGiving up a life of farming completely isn't an option so we brought 4 pet lambs with us. Over the years the numbers have changed with lambs coming and going however we still have 2 of the original ewes now (2008) too old for breeding. Assorted hens produce the breakfast eggs and some noisey call ducks make up the crew. You may also notice some 'interesting' colours in the local wild rabbit population due to a re-enactment of "The Great Escape" by a pet rabbit some years ago!
